Moving!

Hi everyone,

We're moving to a new flat, as our time in the current place has come to an end. We've really enjoyed the flat, after having to get used to the idiosyncrasies of living in an old school British flat. But it's been spacious, nice kitchen and big windows. Yet, we're gaining a shower and better television reception, so that is good too! And, we'll still have room for visitors, so let me know when you plan to come over for a visit! :)

I'm not going to post our new info here, but be on the lookout for it via email. We're currently packing, cleaning and then will move stuff early this week. Then Brian is off to California for 2 weeks without me!! But will be good time for me to get our new place sorted and catch up on things. Although I was hoping to catch up on the blog and emailing everyone I've been meaning to, but sounds like I won't have internet right away at the new place. As we've learned, everything takes forever over here to get done. So I have to wait 12 days for our internet just to switch to a new place. At least phone will switch over right away, and our phone numbers will all be the same. I guess I'll catch up reading a good book and some funny British sitcoms! Oh, and they do show American Idol over here, just 3 days behind - so I'm staying up to speed with that at least!

Steffan is here!

Well you haven't heard from me in awhile, because we are still in visitor-mode! Steffan Freeman, Brian's best bud and roomie from Gustavus is here visiting. Steffan arrived last Friday and has been going at it ever since! Brian and I are still working days, and then we're all hanging out together at night. Steffan is here until next Thursday, so lots more fun to be had!

Snow in April

We woke up to a thick coating of snow this morning! A bit strange since it's April in England, and we rarely see snow here. It's pretty much already all melted, but was a crisp, bright day. Good thing spring is around the corner though!
